Alberta Ferretti pays tribute to the Romagna region and Federico Fellini
Alberta Ferretti chooses Rimini to present its Resort 2024 collection. The fashion show,
which was held at Castel Sismondo in the city’s historic center, celebrated Federico
Fellini and the Romagna region, a land that gave birth to both the fashion designer and
the legendary film director.
Fashion and cinema: the first responds to the human need to represent oneself, the
second is storytelling, entertainment, escape. However different forms of expression,
they both feed on fantasies that become tangible through intense team work directed
by an author.
The essence of creative work: this is the link between Alberta Ferretti and Federico

Against the background of Castel Sismondo, which hosts the Fellini Museum and is a
symbol of the city that returns, transfigured, in a transparent print, the Resort 2024
collection comes to life: a new iteration of a romantic and passionate, concrete and
ethereal style.
Perched on high and slender heels, the Alberta Ferretti women wear long waistcoats,
fluid pantsuits, impalpable trench coats, but also zip-up blousons and suede skirts, very
light and floaty blouses, crisp overcoats.
They naturally explore a world of contrasts in which masculine tailoring mixes with
immaterial lightness; at night, they cover themselves with long shimmering cloaks,
ready for the role of mysterious and poetic femme fatales.
The counterpoint of delicacy and strength runs through the entire collection,
supported by silky, weightless fabrics - chiffon, washed silks, envers satin, iridescent
taffetas - and sturdy materials such as metallic printed denim and suede. Precious and
dreamlike, embroideries illuminate and punctuate.
